My name is Erin Hager and I am a web designer and communication strategist. I firmly believe that the right medium and communication plan can help audiences discover new worlds around them. Sometimes you just have to be a little more creative in doing so.

I grew up in Bristol, Tennessee and earned my Bachelor’s degree in digital media from East Tennessee State University. Technical and artistically minded, I set my sights on web design and development. After working in news media in North Carolina, I developed a taste for information. I moved to Knoxville, Tennessee and began working in higher education. This afforded me the opportunity to earn my Master’s degree in communications from Austin Peay State University. Recently I’ve moved back to the Bristol area, working as a Digital Content Strategist for East Tennessee State University and taking care of my family.

In my spare time, I love to paint, draw, read, and geek out with others over music, pop culture, and just about anything. You can catch me enjoying the outdoors, going to local conventions, spending time with my husband, Chris, and loving on my small rescue dog, Murray.
